About Us
The InterKnit Machine Knitting Guild was founded in the Fall of 1995 and established for the support, education and fellowship of machine knitters of all experience and expertise levels regardless of the make or model of machine used.
Many of our Guild Members knit for Charity. Our members include beginners, hobby knitters, designers, authors, teachers and knit shop owners.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. CST via ZOOM. Meetings include updates of club happenings, member “Show & Tell” of projects they’ve made during the month and demonstrations of specific machine knitting techniques are shown. It is also a time to help members with any specific issues or problems they may be encountering in their machine knitting journey. Yearly in-person seminars featuring well-known teachers are also offered.
A monthly Newsletter is sent out advising of upcoming meetings and members are invited to post any items they have for sale along with lots of other great information.
